Mark Randall is one of the founding principals of South City Partners. Along with John Long, Mark is responsible for setting the overall direction of the company, identifying new development opportunities and perhaps most importantly, building and supporting a great team of dedicated, passionate and fun-loving development professionals. Mark has primary responsibility for setting the design direction, and high-level oversight of the construction, marketing and property operations of all South City’s Projects.
Prior to forming South City, Mark was the Southeast Regional Director for Wood Partners. He was responsible for the development and disposition of over 10,000 apartments in 35 projects with a total capitalization of over $1.3B. These projects represent a diverse portfolio of multifamily housing including Market Rate Apartments, Workforce Housing, Age Restricted Apartments, Student Housing, and For Sale Condominiums. In addition, Mark was responsible for Wood Partners entry into High-Rise Condominium development with projects in Atlanta, Denver, Houston, Dallas, Orlando and West Palm Beach. Previously, Mark was with Gable Residential Trust (REIT) where he served as Regional Vice President of Development. From 1985 to 1998, Mr. Randall worked at Post Properties, Inc. (REIT) where he served as Senior Vice President of Construction Operations. During his tenure at Post, Mark was responsible for the construction of over 9,000 apartments in 26 communities throughout the southeast. Mark graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1982, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction.
